Privacy Policy

1. What this covers
This policy explains what data BypassGuard Security ("the Bot") processes when it is added to a Discord server, and what data this website (a static pricing page) collects. This website does not use cookies, analytics, or any contact/signup form β it links directly to Discord.
2. Data the Bot processes
To do its job, the Bot reads and stores the following, scoped per Discord server:
- Message content β read transiently to check it against configured rules (banned words, emoji patterns, visual-spam patterns). Full message content is never stored; only a truncated excerpt (up to 200 characters) is saved as part of an infraction record when a message is actually flagged or sanctioned.
- Discord identifiers β server (guild), channel, role, and user IDs needed to apply moderation actions and route logs to the correct channels.
- Moderation history β infractions, warnings, timeouts, and ban proposals/confirmations tied to a user ID within a server, used to apply escalating consequences for repeat offenses.
- Server configuration β the rules, thresholds, and channels an administrator sets up via the Bot's commands (e.g.
/setup-log,/wordlist,/security). - Subscription/plan records β which paid plan (if any) is active for a server and its expiry date, used to gate plan-restricted features.
3. Where data is stored
Server configuration and moderation records are stored in a hosted Postgres database (Supabase), accessed only by the Bot itself. Data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for anything beyond operating the Bot's moderation features.
4. Data retention and deletion
Data for a server is retained for as long as the Bot remains in that server, so moderation history stays useful for staff. When the Bot is removed from a server, its stored configuration and history for that server can be deleted on request β contact the operator through the channels linked from the pricing page.
5. Third parties
The Bot runs on Discord's platform and is subject to Discord's own Privacy Policy for any data Discord itself processes. Database hosting is provided by Supabase. The Bot does not integrate any advertising or analytics SDK.
6. Your rights
A server administrator can request an export or deletion of that server's stored data at any time. Individual users can ask their server's staff, or contact the operator directly, to have their own moderation history reviewed or removed.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision.
8. Contact
Privacy questions or data requests can be sent through the support channels linked from the pricing page.
